Almost over with the blogs. I have not written enough, so I expect my grade to go down because of this. To be honest, I did not enjoy writing these blogs; having to write something related to the day, twice per week, seemed to be rather... uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the course was great, and I enjoyed this class.

Forgetfulness

To keep the topics constant, this post will also be about forgetfulness. Where do the memories go, when you do not have them present? It is like those mosquitos you mindlessly kill, and then forget about it. What happened to it? I do not think will have any answer. However, getting a bad grade for not writing this blog, which has been present in my forgetfulness, is a certainty. Hate it...

Pls Blog

Please remind me I have to write. Every single week I forget about it and then I panic. I really wish there is something I can do about it.

Ahhh.... at least I do not have any assignments due to Monday and I can just enjoy my weekend... lol jk, I have to get my Study Permit + Work Permit stuff done.

Scheme

I am writing right now a program on Scheme. Scheme is a very unique program due to how much recursion it needs and that for loops are very seldom used(actually, I have never used one). Nevertheless, I enjoy coding on it a lot, especially because how much I have to concentrate. I will be done with this assignment (or at least half) by late today (:

Assignments

The assignments keep getting harder. Not harder in the way that they require lots of thought or research, harder in the way that they are being marked harshly. I am trying to write the best I can, but I am not really improving much. Let us see what happens in a few weeks.

This time I did not forget to write the blog. Right now, I am listening to one of the bands I like: Bring Me The Horizon (BMTH). It seems that they changed their harsh, "br00tal" sound; now they play a style resembling Linkin Park. I am not sure how to feel about it, that is why I am writing it here. I really suck at writing blogs...

Blog

As every week, last week only had 1 post. It seems like remembering to write this stuff is rather hard. I wish I did not have to...

On the other hand, the teacher is extremely nice, and I am surprised about how high I scored on the assignments.

Forgot again

Well, I forgot to write this blog last week. As usual, I remembered in the early days of this week, and then I panicked. Midterms, assignments, and hard courses are hindering my ability to remember writing it. I think I should set an alarm or something about it; still, I hope for the best (:

Viral Conjunctivitis

Last week , I was sick with Viral Conjunctivitis, ie. Pink Eye. It was not an awful experience, but it was nothing joyous either. It made me forget about writing the blog, and now I will have a lower grade.  I wish I could remember writing, but I always forget. I must really set up an alarm or sth.

Failure

Yeah, my intent of posting for the whole week was a failure. I think being sick (got viral conjunctivitis) influenced that. Anyways, I will try to post this as much as I remember to. I need luck and good memory.

Sad

As I was afraid, I forgot to write my blog last week. Since the teacher asked us to write this at least twice per week, I've been scared of forgetting. Every single week, I wrote on the weekend and I thought I would always recall. Well, I didn't. This week I will try to write every single day to see if my professor is so nice to not take away marks.

Assigment 1

One week ago, I decided that this semester I was not going to procrastinate. Moreover, I decided I will try to finish all assignments at least 2 or 3 days before the due day in order to have some time in case I wanted to change something. Therefore, I finished the first assignment for CMPT 310 on January 19th, almost one week before its due day, and so early that the course website had not been set up yet. Happy about finishing so early, I forgot about it and did the other assignments. Today, I realized that I did not submit it. Beautiful :')

Almost forgot

To be honest, I almost forgot to write my blog this week. I usually write them on Fridays and Sundays, but this time I did not recall it (I guess because I had done the assignment). I am paying much attention on not using nominalizations or unnecessary passive voice, as the professor taught me. Anyways, I will start the assignment soon, and I will hopefully do well.

Assignment 1!

The assignment number 1 is due tomorrow and I am almost ready to submit it. It was rather challenging writing almost 1000 words per draft, but it was also pretty entertaining, especially since I was rewarding myself with computer games every time I finished a draft. Furthermore, listening to music made me write more smoothly, especially when I was listening to fast paced genres like Black Metal or Hardcore.  I will keep writing with music unless this first assignment is a failure.

R.I.P Laptop

Starting from last week, my laptop has been working weirdly. It would turn off by itself, restart without any warning, etc. Today, I discovered the lower right part of the screen is broken, and apparently that is extremely important for the laptop. I can still use it, but as soon as I move the screen the laptop turns off by itself. This post is to remind me to fix it.

Sunday Night

Saturday and Sunday appear to have half the length of any other normal day. While on other days I have time to go to the gym, study, play computer games, go to class, etcetera, it seems like during weekends I had barely woken up when it's time to go to sleep again. That just shows how badly I waste time when I do not have meaningful things to do.

First post here!

This is the first post in my blog, and it will mostly used as a test. Writing on this blog is very similar to writing in google docs; however, I seldom do it, so I do not think it will look pretty. On another note, today I did the first writing in class and I realized something: I have not written any piece of formal writing by myself for 1 year and a half. That discovery made me feel afraid of the course, but I hope I learn new things and that I do not get too low grades.
